Atari Breakout is an improved version of Atari's classic Breakout game. This new version has power-ups to make it easier for you to advance to the next level.
A ball bounces off the top and two sides of the screen as it goes straight around the screen. Choose from three alternative modes: 'double,' 'cavity,' or 'progressive,' each having its own gaming experience. Double allows you to operate two paddles at the same time. The cavity has two paddles but only one ball at first. The remaining balls are trapped within walls and may be liberated. The whole wall will gradually descend in the progressive mode.

You play this game by using the mouse to move the board at the bottom of the screen in order to hit the ball, which must be struck in order for it to fly up and collide with the bricks. You have won when all of the bricks have been removed. You lose all three of your lives and the game if you miss catching the ball three times.
