About Sports Hero

Sports Hero is a retro action sports game that involves competing in various Olympic events against other computer-controlled opponents. The game is set in Rio and features bright graphics and easy-to-use controls that keep it interesting throughout. It involves playing the role of members of various national teams competing in different disciplines.

Game Modes

There are two major game modes in Sports Hero. Each player gets an opportunity to choose what kind of game to play.

Single-player mode

If you decide to start your training session by choosing the single player mode, you will be fighting against CPU athletes in various sports disciplines, trying to win to gain access to other disciplines.

Multiplayer mode

It’s possible to fight against another friend in sprinting competitions, swimming battles, and other disciplines right in the multiplayer game mode. It brings much fun since all events in the game are based on timing.

How to Play Sports Hero

The game starts with players selecting their national team and then engaging in their first sports challenge. Different challenges have distinct rules and require specific abilities from players. For example, for a 100m race, players should tap keys repeatedly but rhythmically to make them run much faster than others.

Similarly, weight lifting needs precise body coordination. Other events include hurdle jumping, where precision at jumping at the right time is required. In swimming, it is important to react fast, whereas in the case of javelin throwing, one must hit the perfect timing for throwing it farther.

Experience points are gained when a match is won.
