In Retro Sports Champion, the game starts with the classic 100-meter run race, where gamers get acquainted with the rhythm elements of the game and learn that timing is critical for winning in competitions. As a result, gamers are supposed to be faster than competitors to become gold medal winners.
Further, while earning experience points from each victory, new sports will be unlocked. In total, there are six sports events, such as hurdle racing, swimming, long jump, javelin throw, and weightlifting. These six sports have various gameplay features, which makes the game interesting to play.
