Punchers Gameplay

The main idea of Punchers is to give you as real an experience of boxing. Every game pits you against an opponent who can be computer-controlled or sit beside you as human-controlled. The main idea is to throw clean punches, defend yourself when the punches come at you, and balance yourself to get the better of the other guy. Since physics is involved, all punches have their effects, as both fighters sway to and fro to the punches that come their way.

Positioning is essential in matches. If you position yourself too much on one side, an attacker might be able to catch you off guard, but if you position yourself in the middle, you will be able to react faster. Fighters must work on their punching rhythm, as punching too much can decrease their stamina and make it difficult for them to defend. The slow-motion effect gives a cinematic feel to the gameplay, and you can relish the highlight of a good hook and a perfect dodge.
