Portal Billiards is an innovative version of traditional billiards where the pool table is relocated to a space setting in a futuristic spacecraft. The non-traditional pockets are now portals with glowing lights, where the balls are sucked in by these portals. The game requires aiming skills using traditional billiards game visuals in a Sci-Fi setting.

Portal Billiards uses the same general idea as traditional billiards but adds an intelligent rule that completely changes how every shot is planned. At first glance, the table seems familiar; however, it replaces the pockets with portals around the edges. Each portal has a specific color-red or blue, and that color determines which balls can be scored there.
At the beginning, balls of two colors fill the table. You have to put them into portals with a corresponding color; red ones in the red portals and blue ones in the blue portals. It does not help to put it into the portal with the wrong color, so attentive observation before every shot is a must.
After every shot, the portals change their positions around the table randomly. That means there is no fixed safe option, and players will have to reassess again and again.
