In Pocket Champions, you play on a miniature soccer field where each team has an opportunity to take an action turn. When it is your turn to take an action, you get to choose a player to shoot through, dragging back to determine the strength and direction of the shot, and then releasing it to be shot. The player that you have selected to shoot aims to get to the opposite team’s goals while preparing to defend the shots that may come.
The matches will continue until a team has three goals, in which case the game will instantly end, and a winner will be determined. This makes the game very direct. It is an effective way of ensuring that the game remains both entertaining and on track. Successful games reward coins, which can be used to personalize your team as well as gain entry to new stadiums. The game can either be played singly or with a friend.
