In GP Ski Slalom, the primary goal is straightforward but also requires significant challenge. The player has to ski down courses while going correctly past each of the gates. Missing a gate results in losing valuable time during the run. As players pass each of the levels, the turns become tighter, and there are more gates and trickier layouts.
At the start of the game, you are given the choice of three different skiers, each with the same fundamental functionality but giving the game some visual interest and fun personality. As you progress through the twelve levels, the track length and intricacy are increased, with players being supported by the slowly building difficulty.
