The main characters of a sweet little series of platforming puzzle games are Fireboy and Watergirl. In this television series, two individuals must cooperate in order to navigate the intricate mazes of several ancient temples constructed in homage to diverse natural forces. Even the most difficult challenges may be solved by our heroes with the help of friendship, teamwork, and judicious use of their own gifts.
The player may simultaneously control Watergirl and Fireboy by pressing WSAD and the appropriate arrow key for each character. The platforming and puzzle-solving, however, seem extremely conventional and were constructed with skill. The male protagonist's flames are put out by the water, but the female protagonist, who is formed of water, cannot pass through the fire. Sometimes just one of the characters is able to go forward before he or she pulls a lever or presses a button to aid a buddy and keep them safe. If any character perishes, the level is reset.
