Ballio is a fun and easy arcade soccer game that tests your timing and skills. Rather than trying to score any goals, you try to kick a football towards a glove that moves constantly. Each time you are successful in hitting the glove, you keep playing, but if you fail, you lose a life out of the three you have.
Whereas regular football games concentrate on action and motion, Ballio requires that you understand the science behind the game. The ball doesn’t move in a straight line; therefore, you need to factor in the force of gravity to anticipate its position.
The glove will never stop moving. Take note of how it moves before you release the ball. This timing can make or break your attempt to hit and continue running.
With only three lives for each round, each shot is crucial. Every time the player misses the glove, one life will be deducted from him, getting one step closer to ending the game. The higher the score, the more difficult it becomes to concentrate on winning.
These controls are quite simple. You have to kick the ball such that it touches the glove. Each time you do this successfully, the game will continue; otherwise, you will lose one life.
