Arcade Glide is a fun arcade driving game where drifting becomes a swinging movement. Rather than maneuvering the vehicle with a wheel, one has to swing it from one point to another by hooking onto the anchor point. It is automatic for the car to move in one direction.
The gameplay of Arcade Glide is centered on timing-based drifts. Before the car enters the corner, the player must press the control key to link up to the anchor point. After linking, the car will swing past the corner and then release the player at the right time.
The race never really comes to an end. The longer you live, the harder the game becomes because it speeds up. There are many sharp curves, and making a minor mistake might cause your vehicle to go off the road.
The timing is the main factor in the game. Any deviation from the correct time will make your car go off the road. Knowing how to press at the right time and how to let go is what ensures victory.
The roads are narrow, and touching the side of the track immediately ends your run. Staying focused is essential, especially as the speed increases later in the game.
In the course of your play, you will have the ability to gather coins in your race sessions. Coins enable you to unlock new cars in the game.
