Alto's Adventure is an endless snowboarding adventure taking you on an enjoyable and exhilarating ride amid some amazing alpine landscapes. Join Alto and his companions as they ride down snowy peaks, mystical forests, beautiful towns, and old ruins while facing various challenges.
The game features ever-changing mountain terrains, thus making each trip unique. In your downward journey, you will come across various challenges such as steep ravines, ramps, rooftops, and others that need to be timed properly. There are also llamas that have run away from their enclosure, and you must avoid the mountain elders.
Although the controls in the game are very easy to learn and use, you will have difficulty performing them perfectly. You will hold a single button during jumps to spin in mid-air, and then release it on time to land safely. Successful combinations of tricks can give you extra speed and points.
One thing that makes Alto’s Adventure special is its calm ambiance and minimalistic graphics. You will have an ever-changing environment while riding, and different lighting and weather effects will provide you with a unique experience on every trip. Thunderstorms, snowfalls, fog, rainbows, sunset, and even shooting stars might show up while you’re playing the game.
You will need to accomplish 180 objectives designed by hand during the game. By completing the challenges, you will be able to unlock six snowboarders, each of whom will have their own skills and attributes.
As you gain more confidence in using the controls, you can challenge yourself even more by unlocking the wingsuit. The wingsuit allows you to soar in the air and do tricks.
